This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use BacktestFusion and how we use it.
1. What information we collect
a) Files you upload
When you upload your MT5 backtest reports (.xlsx files), they are processed in real time to generate your combined report. We do not store these files on our servers — once the analysis is complete and your result is displayed, the data is not retained.
b) Browsing data (analytics)
We use Vercel Analytics to understand general site traffic (pages visited, visitor count, approximate country of origin, etc.). This service is designed not to identify individual users: it does not use persistent tracking cookies, and session data is automatically discarded after 24 hours. We do not cross-reference this information with any other source or share it with third parties for advertising purposes.
c) No user accounts
BacktestFusion does not require registration or login. We do not collect your name, email, or any other personally identifiable information to use the tool.
2. How we use the information
The only information we process (uploaded files) is used exclusively to generate the combined report you request. Aggregated analytics data is used solely to understand general site usage and improve the product.
3. Who we share information with
We do not sell, rent, or share any information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. The only third parties involved are:
- Vercel (our hosting and analytics provider), which processes technical browsing data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
4. Your rights
If you are located in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or any jurisdiction with applicable data protection rights, you have the right to request information about what data we hold about you (in your case, since we do not store files or identifiable personal data, this is normally limited to aggregated analytics data), as well as to request its deletion where applicable.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be reflected on this page with the corresponding "last updated" date.
